The premier of the Hollywood film based on Saroyan’s “Human Comedy” novel, will be in the end of this year
“Horizon” weekly informs that the premier of the Hollywood film “Ithaca” based on American-Armenian author, William Saroyan’s “Human Comedy” novel, will be on December 31, this year.
The director of the movie is Meg Ryan, and Tom Hanks is the producer. The source says that Hollywood Reporter considers this film in the list of the 100 most anticipated movies. The journal says that this ranking is not only because of William Saroyan’s renowned work , but also because of the strong team of actors staring in the movie.
Meg Ryan also played a mother of the hero. Melanie Griffith, Sam Shepard and Luis Robbins are playing in the movie.
“Ithaca” in English means asteroid.
