«I no more want to express the official position of the party. That way I will be more free to express my own opinion, the opinion of Vahan Babayan the parliamentarian, not the party affiliate»,- Vahan Babayan, the outgoing press secretary of Prosperous Armenia party told the journalists today in the National Assembly.

Earlier in the morning Vahan Babayan wrote on his Facebook page, that he will discharge himself from the duties of party spokesperson. «That’s my personal decision», - he wrote.

Naira Zohrabyan, the leader of Prosperous Armenia faction in the parliament and the chairwoman of the party, says that’s an internal issue for the party and they would rather respect the decision of their colleague and are scheduled to discuss who’s going to be the next spokesperson for the party.

«These are internal issues for the party, and it’s not a must to discuss all internal questions with the journalists»,- Zohrabyan reasoned, adding that there are no questions of personal character.
