Zhoghovurd: The grandson of Levon Ter-Petrosyan drafted in a military unit in Yerevan
According to sources of Zhoghovurd newspaper, the elder grandson of first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan – Levon Ter-Petrosyan Jr -- has been drafted earlier this year and is on active duty in one of military units in capital Yerevan.
«The fact that the first President’s grandson has been drafted for compulsory military service is an unusual thing in the present-day Armenia. Moreover, Ter-Petrosyan Jr has had a legal right to be freed from draft, but he chose to insist on being drafted instead of being deferred»,- the newspaper writes.
