Levon Mkrtchyan about the unacceptable
“We have a situation when parents are reluctant to send their children to high school. This is unacceptable,” said the newly appointed Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan during the first work conference.
“There is also a problem concerning the MA degree, we particularly need to clarify the difference between the MA and BA degrees and their compliance with the requirements of the labour market, otherwise higher education loses its value,” stated the Minister, according to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Education and Science.
He also stressed that as a lecturer of Yerevan State University he personally noticed the effect of some educational reforms on the quality of education.
