Armine Adibekyan: Baku sole purpose to discredit Armenia
“Official Baku described the events in Khojaly as genocide to disguise and silence the events in Sumgait,” said Armine Adibekyan, a sociologist, expert on Azerbaijan and Coordinator of the Congress of refugees from the Azerbaijan SSR.
“The main reason is to discredit Armenia. Azerbaijan has every right to demand an international investigation, which it does not and I don’t know why,” added Adibekyan during the press conference.
According to her, the Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan announced that they couldn’t appeal to the international court providing absurd justifications.
