SYOA to perform at ''Al Bustan'' International Festival
The State Youth Orchestra of Armenia (SYOA) is due to participate in ''Al Bustan'' International Festival for the last three consecutive years which is to be held in Beirut. SOYA’s performance is expected on March 13-20 and will consist of 6 concerts conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, who is also its artistic director, principal conductor as well as Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano, SYOA's press service told Panorama.am.
Renowned international musicians will perform with the orchestra, and works by Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Elgar, Prokofev and others are to be delivered.
This prestigious international festival was founded in 1994 in Lebanon. Over 4000 artists throughout the world have been invited to it so far. The festival program comprises of Opera, Symphony Chorus Chamber music as well as Jazz, Eastern music, dancing and theatrical performances.
It says, masters classes, seminars are to be organized within the scope of the festival. ''AL Bustan'' is a part of European Festival Association (EFA) and International Artist Managers’ Association (IAMA).
