Vaso Kapanadze sees no obstacle for Armenia in Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish relations
Good neighborly relations between Armenia and Georgia are to be accepted as a matter of fact, and the economic cooperation between the countries may continue regardless the development of the situation, says Georgian analyst Vaso Kapanadze answering the question what could be the possible reflection on the Georgian- Armenian relations in the light of Armenia’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union and Georgia’s European integration. Kapanadze’s comments came during the online interview organized by “Region” Research Center.
“We are member to Foreign Trade Association and, our republics can fully utilize all the benefits provided by different memberships to different organization,” Kapanadze said, adding that the future of the EEU and the EU is cooperation, not confrontation.
“That could be a good chance for the business as well through establishing joint enterprises,” the analyst indicated.
According to him, the Georgian-Azerbaijani and Georgian-Turkish close relations can not be an obstacle for the development of the Georgian-Armenian relations.
“Georgia develops its relations with Armenia, Turkey and Azerbaijan. I do not consider Georgian-Azerbaijan-Turkish relations to be an obstacle for the further development of the Armenia-Georgian ties,” Kapanadze concluded.
