Armenia new Electoral Draft Code to be subject for public discussion
The working group developing the Electoral Code (EC) has already submitted the initial version of the Code to the Venice Commission due to time constraints and taking into account the need to present a briefer version for public discussions, the Government Press Service informed at the request of Parorama.am.
According to the source, the version of new EC that is going to be published and circulated by the government contains the proposals submitted by all stakeholders concerned.
"The bill is revised and contains certain differences compared with the preliminary version submitted to the Venice Commission. In this revised form it will be subject for public discussion," added the Government Press Service.
