“Armenia” Airline applied to the Ministry of Economy for permission to conduct flights from Armenia, reported the Department of Civil Aviation Policy and Economic Regulation of the Ministry.
“The Ministry of Economy of Armenia received a letter from Armenia Airline to conduct commercial air flights. The Ministry also had a meeting with the representatives of the air company to discuss both the procedure of submitting an application for a certificate for implementation of regular commercial air transportations and the list of required documents,” reported the Department.
The Ministry also said that as soon as the airline provided the necessary documents the application would be submitted to the Board for consideration.
It should be noted, that Civil Aviation Spokesman Ruben Grdzelyan earlier reported Panorama.am that they didn’t have any information on the timing of the airline’s flights and destinations.
During an interview with Sputnik Armenia, shareholder of the company Tamaz Gaiashvili said that the company would provide flights from Yerevan to European, CIS and Asian countries for $49.
