Tobacco production grows in Armenia by 50.9%
Tobacco production in Armenia grows by 50.9% compared with the results of 2015. According to the National Statistical Service, in January 2015 1084.3 million cigarettes were produced, yet this year the number is 1636.2 million.
The share of tobacco production in the industry is 20.5% due to the recorded production growth.
It should be noted that in 2015 the growth in tobacco production in Armenia was 43.1% when 12277.1 million cigarettes were produced (in 2014 the number was 12772.2 million and in 2013 7 billion 730 million).
