Artsakh President: We'll do our utmost for your lives to be more affluent and peaceful
The president of Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan addressed his congratulatory note on International Women's Day, March 8.
"Dear women,
I congratulate you on International Women's Day on behalf of NKR government and myself.
Traditionally, March 8 is celebrated as the day of women's rights protection. Yet it is another opportunity for us to evaluate your work, to express our deepest gratitude, respect and love. You have always been with us, by our side since the first day of Artsakh war, when we were presenting our fair demand to the world, when we were waging life-or-death struggle against our enemy, and later, when it was necessary to restore the economy, rebuild ruined villages and towns, create our independence, and today, when it is necessary to upgrade and strengthen Artsakh and bring up a worthy generation. You have your priceless contribution everywhere remaining beautiful and charming.
Once again, I congratulate you on this wonderful occasion and wish you to be always healthy and happy, cheerful and unique. And we will do our utmost for your lives to be more affluent and peaceful.
All the best to you, dear Artsakh women," reads Bako Sahakyan's note.
