Peskov: Sargsyan, Putin to exchange views on Karabakh issue
Presidents of Russian Federation and Armenia will exchange views on the Karabakh conflict during a meeting later today, Russian President’s spokesperson Dmitri Peskov told Ria Novosti, adding that a neighborhood to such a turbulent region like Turkey may not ensure stability for the states of Russia’s neighborhood.
“No doubt to say, that a neighborhood to such a turbulent region may not add a stability to our neighboring state. Although, let me mention that the exchange of views on hot topics will be conducted later,” Peskov told when asked what the possibility of the resumption of Karabakh conflict against the backdrop of the situation in the Middle East and Russian-Turkish strained relations.
Note, that Armenia’s president is on a working visit to Moscow and as part of his visit the President Sargsyan will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
