Armenia to negotiate over privileged terms for gas price
“On one hand it’s just a work visit, on the other hand it is natural that any such meeting brings certain results,” said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan referring to the meeting of Presidents of Russian Federation and Armenia, during a press conference after the Government session.
“I guess a discussion on gas price is also expected, to maintain the current USD 165 price until the negotiations are over.”
It should be noted that during Government session it was ensured that the natural gas price for Armenia from January 1, 2016 to March 31, 2016 will remain the same, USD 165.
Shavarsh Kocharyan said that in this case the negotiations refer to short-term decision to maintain the current USD 165 price and to talk over privileged terms.
