Defense Army soldier dies in a grenade explosion
On the Line of Contact between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan the adversary fired around 2300 shots from weapons of different calibres, 60 mm launchers, RSL-7 grenades on the night of March 11-12, the press service of NKR Defense Army reports.
The Defense Army frontline unites suppressed the adversary’s offensive operations.
At 15:45 on March 11 in one of the eastern military positions of the Defense Army, soldier Sargis Ohanyan, 1997, was killed in a grenade explosion.
An investigation is underway to find out the details.
NKR Defense Army shares the grief of the soldier’s family, relatives and fellow soldiers.
