Snowden willing to return to the US
Former US National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden said he would be willing to return to the US, reports Gazeta.ru.
He then told about his intentions of continuing his work regardless of where he would live.
“Whatever is happening to me, in this context and in the context of the country, doesn’t really matter. I’ve made my peace with it. I’ve never chosen staying in Russia, I’d rather return to my country,” said Snowden.
He then added that he was expecting “the worst”.
Edward Snowden said earlier he would be willing to return to the US if the government could guarantee a fair trial.
