Venice Commission to present initial conclusion on draft Electoral Code in June
During the Venice Commission Bureau meeting on March 11-12, along with other issues the commission also discussed the draft Electoral Code of Armenia and preparation issues for its corresponding conclusion, the press service of Constitutional Court reports that the President of Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan was also present at the meeting.
According to the source, VC member Evgeni Tanchev said that Armenia requested the opinion of the Commission on the draft Electoral Code.
Considering that the next Commission meeting will take place at the beginning of June, Evgeni Tanchev asked the permission of the Commission to issue the initial conclusion before the June Bureau meeting. The Commission granted its permission.
