The Court of General Jurisdiction of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts officially published the decision on conciliation agreed between actor Vardan Petrosyan and the Hakobyan family.

The conciliation between the parties was concluded on March 3.

Vardan Petrosyan’s advocate Nikolay Baghdasayna informed that according to the reached agreement, Vardan Petrosyan obliges to pay 2 mln AMD to the Hakobyans, while the latters take the obligation to file no additions complaints against the actor.

To remind, on January 29, 2015 t The Court of General Jurisdiction of Armenia’s Kotayk province passed a sentence in the case of a road accident involving Vardan Petrosyan. The accident happened on Yerevan-Yeghvard highway on October 20, 2013. V. Petrosyan received 5 years in prison. Petrosyan was charged under Article 242 part 3 of the Criminal Code – violation of traffic and vehicles operation rules, which caused death of two or more people by negligence.

Petrosyan was released on September 2, 2015 to serve the rest of his punishment outside prison.
