More than 41k pupils to take part in Kangaroo 2016
It is the day of the kangaroo. More than 41k pupils from 1012 schools of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh will participate in the international mathematics competition. It is already the 8th time that the competition is held in our country with the support of “Ayb” School, reports the public relation service of the Educational Foundation.
According to the rules of “Kangaroo without borders” («Kangourou sans Frontières») international organization, the tasks and their answers are published in a month after the contest. In Armenia they will be published on April 18, 2016. Each school will receive a summary report on the results of their pupils in May. In the same month, award nominations are planned in all provinces of Armenia and in Stepanakert.
“Kangaroo” is the most massive and popular school contest held every year on the same day in 63 countries. The contest is held in schools involving all interested pupils from 3rd-12th grades regardless of mathematical abilities and performance. The most important thing is the child’s desire to try their luck in mathematics and look at this fascinating and important subject in a new way.
“Kangaroo” exclusive organizer in Armenia and Artsakh is “Ayb” educational foundation.
The competition is held in Armenia and NKR under the auspices of Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of NKR.
