Armenia ready for strict adherence to ceasefire, Defense Ministry reacts to Kasprzyk’s call
Defense Ministry of the Republic of Armenia reacted to the Personal Representative to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk ‘s call to maintain the ceasefire ahead of Easter, Nowruz holidays
“In response to Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk’s call, we state that Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are ready to strictly adhere to the ceasefire on the RA borders and avoid any action that could lead to an increase in tensions provided that military forces of Azerbaijan will give a positive response to the initiative as well,” reads the press release disseminated by the press department of the RA Defense Ministry.
Earlier, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk issued a statement, calling on the sides to strictly adhere to the ceasefire in light of the upcoming Nowruz Bayram and Easter holidays.
