Nikolai Grigoryan: Each year 120 MESA officers to take training courses in Russia
Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has recently received serious technical equipment, Deputy Director of Rescue Service of MESA, Major-General Nikolai Grigoryan said during the opening ceremony of the Armenian-Russian humanitarian response centre in Getargel community, Kotayk province.
Nikolai Grigoryan also mentioned that the rescue squad of MESA recently became a member of International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG), “The 35-member landing group of MESA constantly takes training courses at the Ministry of Defence, and they can reach any point on the helicopter of the Ministry of Defence.”
He also informed that each year 120 MESA officers will take training courses in the RF.
Head of MESA Crisis Management Centre Hovhannes Khangeldyan reported that the Armenian-Russian centre has a daily shift, necessary technical equipment and staff to resolve the problems and fulfill their aims.
