No member of Armenian NA Delegation, Embassy staff suffered in Brussels explosions
No member of the Armenian parliamentary delegation on a visit to Brussels as well as Armenian Embassy staff suffered during the Brussels explosions, Tigran Balayan, Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, wrote in a post on Twitter.
Earlier, Balayan informed that the Ambassador of Armenia to the Kingdom of Belgium follows the developments.
According to updated data, 17 people were killed and 20 injured during the blast in Brussels airport. The explosion occurred in front of American Airlines registration point. All flights were cancelled, the airport is closed.
An hour after the airport explosions, two more blasts were recorded at Schuman and Maalbeek metro stations in the Belgium’s capital located near the EU offices.
Belgian authorities have raised the security alert to the highest level following the blasts.
