FIDE Candidates’ Tournament: Aronian in the Fourth Place
In the round 11 games of the Fide World Candidates’ Tournament Armenian grand master Levon Aronian suffered a defeat from Svidler. Former world champion Viswanathan Anand defeated Sergey Karjakin, while the games Veselin Topalov vs. Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura vs. Anish Giri ended in a draw.
After 11 round completed Anand, Caruana lead the standing with 6,5 points each. Karjakin comes the third with 6 points followed by Aronyan, Svidler, and Giri with 5,5 points each.
In round 12 games Aronyan will face Caruana, other pairs are Nakamura vs. Anand, Karjakin vs. Topalov, Svidler vs. Giri.
