Another civilian wounded by Azerbaijani fire
On the Line of Contact between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the adversary fired more than 2500 shots from weapons of different calibres on the night of March 25-26, NKR Defense Army press service reports.
Azerbaijani armed forces continued applying 60mm and 82mm mortars, AECP-17 and RSL-7 grenades north-east of the Line of Contact.
A resident of Taghavard village, Yervand Pirumyan, 27, engaged in agricultural activities, was wounded on March 26 by the Azerbaijani fire. Details are being investigated. NKR Defense Army frontline unites suppressed the adversary’s offensive operations.
NKR Defense Army strongly condemns escalation of the situation by Azerbaijan and declares that responsibility of the consequences lies with Azerbaijani military and political leadership.
It should be noted, that earlier another citizen of Armenia, Norik Alikhanyan, 64, was also wounded by Azerbaijani fire next to his house in Berkaber village of Armenia.
