President Sargsyan to head for the United States on a working visit
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will pay a working visit to the United States on March 28 to attend the Nuclear Security Summit to be held in Washington. President Sargsyan is scheduled to hold a number of meetings within the framework of the Summit, press department of the President’s office reports.
Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to the United States will kick off from Boston, where President is set to meet with Massachusetts State governor, community leaders and the State House representatives.
President Sargsyan next will be hosted at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attend the media laboratory of the mentioned educational institute and meet with American Armenian scientists at Samberg Conference Center.
President Sargsyan’s meeting with scholars and graduates of Luys Foundation is expected then he will attend the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and meet with the School leadership, professorship as well as Tavitian Foundation scholars.
Later, President Sargsyan will give a lecture at Harvard Kennedy School and will meet with Armenian students and the School leadership. President Sargsyan is set to visit Watertown Armenian-populated town will be hosted by Armenian Library and Museum of America, meet the representatives of the Armenian community, attend local centers and churches, as well as Armenian Heritage Memorial Park to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, reads the statement released by the Press office.
