Week of Children's book and music kicks off in Armenia
The "Week of children's book and music” kicks off in Yerevan today. The Armenian Ministry of Culture informs that the cultural program is aimed at popularizing the literary and music art among children, strengthen the link between the reader and the book. Children, adults, and children’s authors are the main target group of the program.
All the libraries of the republic are taking part at this event with their programs. Traditionally the week will start in the National Children’s Library after Khnko Aper through exhibition of the works of art studio pupils.
A number of book presentations, competitions, discussions and concerts are expected within the frame of the program.
A meeting is scheduled with writers and children’s authors on April 4, the final day of the program.
