Armenian Culture Week in Tokyo
Various cultural events featuring Armenian and Japanese artists took place during the Armenian Culture Week in Tokyo on March 22-27.
According to Media and Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Armenian Culture Week launched at Daikanyama Hillside Terrace hall. The works of young Japanese artist Makoto Maeda and Armenian designer-painter Arev Petrosyan were displayed.
Armenian Music Festivals on March 24, 26 and 27 featured soprano Arax Mansourian’s concert accompanied by Japanese pianist Takahiro Akiba. Armenian and Japanese short film screenings were also held on March 26 and 27.
Armenian Culture Week was organized with the support of Armenian Embassy in Japan, Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Community Institutions, Komitas Union, etc.
