Armenia initiates free trade agreement talks between Iran, EEU
Armenia has initiated free trade agreement talks between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Vache Gabrielyan, told reporters on Tuesday. Gabrielyan pointed out that the initiative of the talks came from Armenia.
He further added that based on the suggestion the EEU has formed a working group, which is supposed to carry out the relevant issues.
“The works are in the process of implementation. We do not simply raise a question and sign it without proper investigation into the possible effects on the economic spheres. That is considered to be a complicated process and we are working toward addressing it,” Vache Gabrielyan noted.
