To all those wishing to support the Artsakh people
In these days the Armenians of Diaspora ask to their relatives living in Armenian and Artsakh with what help and how they can support the Artsakh people.
Numerous organizations working in Yerevan, educational institutions and ordinary citizens have sent food, clothes, and financial donations - all the things needed to help those in Artsakh.
Panorama.am addressed the abovementioned questions to the Director of the Support Fund of Village and Agriculture of the NKR Ashot Bakhshyan who also is in charge of food service for the Operation Headquarters on the ground.
Bakhshiyan said that civilians who were temporally evacuated from the areas under Azerbaijan shelling are supplied with food. He recommended those wishing to provide with any assistance to send non-perishable items – water tobacco, spaghetti, condensed mild, etc.
“We have water factory, although not operating to its maximum. At present most people are ready to support. People bring everything, lots of products accumulated in the stores,” Bakhshiyan noted.
“A canteen is operating in Stepanakert as well for the evacuated people. Those staying in hotels receive regular food.
Artak Mirzoyan who is in charge of the provision of material service for the Operation Headquarters told Panorama.am, that all the needs are satisfied at present.
“We are in need of mostly accessories for the personal hygiene. Much assistance has been received so far,” Mirozoyan said.
Aside from that, an extrabudgetary fund was set up in Artsakh Ministry of Finance. Those who wish to make donations to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic may facilitate money transfers to the bank accounts listed below.
