Tigran Abrahamyan: Bilateral ceasefire doesn’t mean Azerbaijan will finally give up
The bilateral ceasefire on the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan doesn’t mean that Azerbaijan will finally give up and think over settling the conflict exclusively through peaceful negotiations, writes expert Tigran Abrahamyan on his Facebook page.
“Regardless of the results of negotiations mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group or the statements made, we should be prepared for all the scenarios.
There is no optimistic ground to hope that the region is close to long term peace and stability,” he wrote.
To remind, a bilateral ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, which came into force at noon local time on April 5, has largely held, NKR Defense Army reported in a released statement.
