Defense Minister: All subdivisions beefed up
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan issued a message of gratitude to the volunteers, press department of the Defense Ministry reports.
“During these days numerous detachments, went and joined the unites of the Defense Army using their experience and I consider the current readiness of both the commanders and soldiers is reinforced by the experience of the liberation war veterans, volunteers, Yerkrapah units, thus serving a ground for the success we witnessed along the entire frontline in Artsakh,” reads the message issued on behalf of the minister.
Seyran Ohanyan highlights that the move is a demonstration of consolidation ahead of a threat, while at the same time, he noted that all the subdivisions of the Defense Army are beefed up. The minister recommends those wishing to join the army to get trained to join whenever necessary.
“Aside from the success, we suffered losses along with the parents of many servicemen and freedom fighters, as they sacrificed their life for the sake of our sacred motherland – the protection of Artsakh. However, the success and the victories we gained make us involve the pain with their heroism to solidify as responsibility for future deeds.
