Senor Hasratyan: Search operation for bodies of dead soldiers to be launched
“The fire would be halted today at 15:00-20:00, local time. It aims to launch the search operation for the bodies of those killed from both Armenian and Azerbaijani sides,” said head of NKR Defense Army Information and Public Relations Department, Colonel Senor Hasratyan.
“This operation is coordinated by the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as by the field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office,” Hasratyan said.
ICRS Yerevan office press representative, Zara Amatuni didn’t provide any specific information. She just said that ICRS is actively cooperating with both sides.
“I cannot explain in detail what stage this cooperation is on. Yet our attention is focused on the issues concerning humanitarian aspects, affected population and search operation for the bodies of dead soldiers from both sides,” she said.
