James Warlick on human rights violations: We have seen the photos, we are deeply troubled
''We are deeply distressed by our reports of human rights violations. We have seen the photos, we have heard the reports,' ' American Co-Chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick told reporters at a press conference held in Yerevan on April 9.
Ambassador Warlick's comments came in response to the request to comment on the atrocities by the Azerbaijani forces toward Artsakh civilian population, namely cases of beheading and cutting of ears which were deemed as of ISIS style.
James Warlick informed they had a meeting with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and asked them to look into what precisely occurred.
«We have raised this issue in capitals. What I want to say we are deeply troubled, deeply concerned by any human rights violations,'' Warlick noted.
