President of the Republic of Armenia and National Security Council Serzh Sargsyan convened a meeting of National Security Council this evening, press department of the President’s office reports.

Within the frames of the agenda it was discussed issues related to the undertaken measures with regard to the current situation resulted in the gross violation of the 1994 ceasefire agreement by Azerbaijan Republic, the large-scale attack against the Nagorno Karanakh Republic and t after the use of force against civilian population.

Members to the National Security Council presented reports. It was recorded that the RA Armed Forces fulfilled their tasks during the military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan. NKR Defense Army was victorious in halting Azerbaijani aggression and disrupting its plans. 

President Sargsyan gave corresponding instructions with regard to the discussed issues.
