Michael Aramyan: Azerbaijani side tortured and then decapitated Armenian soldiers
The results of the forensic examination of the bodies of 18 Armenian soldiers delivered by the Azerbaijani side aren’t ready yet, but the external examination shows that they were brutally subjected to torture, said Chairman of “Foundation Against Violation of the Law”, Michael Aramyan.
It should be noted, that the NGO is dealing with issues related to the torture of those 18 soldiers.
Aramyan also said that a criminal case on the death of the soldiers has been opened on several articles of the Criminal Code.
“The criminal case was opened on violation of several articles of the Criminal Code from murder to ill-treatment, torture, humiliation, etc.,” added Aramyan, noting that the initial investigation is realized by Artsakh enforcement authorities.
According to him, two of 18 soldiers are decapitated whose heads haven’t yet been returned.
“One of the beheaded boys is from Yerevan, the other is from Artsakh. Our boys have been subjected to torture and then beheaded,” Aramyan said.
To remind, soldier Qyaram Sloyan, Yazidi by nationality, was also beheaded. The dismembered head of the soldier was returned to his parents who had to rebury their son.
