Buyers of the Exhibition-sale at the Artists’ Union of Armenia not active
An exhibition at the Artists’ Union of Armenia opened on April 12 featuring the 80 best works by the artists of the 1960-80s stored in the archives of the Union.
The whole revenue of the exhibition-sale is to be donated to Artsakh.
As the head of t Artists’ Union of Armenia told Panorama, during the two days 4 art works were sold for a total cost of 4500 USD.
“The two works are taken, the other two are expected today,” he said adding that the prices for the works vary.
“I am hopeful, buyers will be more active. The presented works are suggested at a lower price to their value. One would never refuse to buy these works at the suggested prices in different time,” the head of the Union noted.
To remind, the exhibition sale will be open until April 23.
