Armenian boxer Aram Avagyan defeats Turkish Ibrahim Gokcek
Armenian boxer, Aram Avagyan (56 kg) defeated Turkish Ibrahim Gokcek during European Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament, 2016 in Samsun, Turkey, reports Armenian Boxing Federation official website.
Aram Avagyan will appear in the semi-finals.
Our athletes are required to win in the semi-finals to receive the right to attend the Summer Olympics, 2016. In case of defeat, our boxers will have an opportunity to compete for the 3rd place and will also be able to attend Summer Olympics in Rio.
