“We didn’t use the Defense Army reserves which is intended for solving global issues. We posses weapons the adversary might not even dream of. However, we do need to acquire new armament and the relevant work is underway,” Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said during an interview with the Public TV Channel of Armenia.

Minister Ohanyan reflected on the large-scale military operation unleashed by Azerbaijan in the passed days, saying: “The Defense army was engaged in fights in the first echelon within the area of 2 - 2.5km beyond the frontline. The military operations were conducted within the reach of a platoon, and the weapons used were necessary in that specific situation. Our tankers did an outstanding work destroying numerous modern tanks; our artillery, which hit all the echelons in the adversary rear to halt their advance, did excellent job as well. The adversary tried to infiltrate through up to 30 directions, yet their attempts failed,” Ohanyan noted.
