Armenian servicemen participating in multinational military training
32-member medical unit of the Armenian Armen Forces has been participating in multinational military training organized by the U.S. Joint Multinational Readiness Center in USAG-Bavaria, Hohenfels Training Area since March 29, 2016, reports the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
5000 servicemen from 16 countries are participating in the military training.
During the military training, Armenian servicemen provided 2nd level medical assistance according to the NATO standards. Also, the U.S. EDEMS system portable field hospital of the Armenian Armed Forces was launched for the first time abroad.
United States Army Europe commanding general, lieutenant general Frederick Benjamin (Ben) Hodges arrived to follow the training process. He also met with Armenian servicemen.
The military training will contribute to the professional skills of providing emergency assistance in combat conditions and raising the level of interoperability in multinational environment of the members of the EDEMS portable field hospital of the Armenian Armed Forces.
