Sergey Lavrov on Turkey’s statements during Four Day War
“Such statements are unacceptable of Turkey,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with his counterpart, Edward Nalbandian.
According to him, Turkey’s statements during the escalation of the situation on the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan were calls for war rather than peace.
“Those statements were against the position of the OSCE co-chairs and the international community,” said Lavrov adding that they are ‘already accustomed to the policy of Turkey’s current leadership’.
