Lavrov on investigation mechanisms introduced for latest events
“It is fundamentally important to do our best not to let any violation of the indefinite ceasefire agreement between the parties, concerning Nagorni Karabakh conflict settlement. The agreement was reached back in 1994-95 and is still in effect by local recognition,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with his counterpart, Edward Nalbandian.
According to him, coordinated measures achieved also by the mediation of Russia, should be implemented.
“It concerns the investigation mechanisms, as well as other measures aimed at trust and security,” Lavrov said.
He also stressed the importance of emphasizing the NK conflict settlement by the OSCE German Chairmanship.
