“NKR Defense Army denies the news which is clearly a product of Azerbaijani propaganda, considering it nothing more than another trick to conceal its own offensive operations,” states NKR Defense Army press service.

“The Azerbaijani propaganda based on a statement of their Ministry of Defense, spread news that on the night of April 24, the Armenian soldiers approached the Azerbaijani positions on tanks and opened fire, shortly trying to attack.

Unlike the adversary, the Defense Army refrained from any offensive operation destabilizing the situation, especially making progress using troops and armoured vehicles respecting the verbal agreement on ceasefire of April 5.

Concerning the news on destruction of an Armenian tank and its crew by Azerbaijani forces, let’s take it as another modulation in the adversary’s propaganda,” reads the statement.
