Noubar Afeyan sees Armenia as a global humanitarian center of the future
We are making first steps toward turning Armenia into a global humanitarian center, an American-Armenian entrepreneur, co-founder of the 100 Lives initiative Noubar Afeyan told Panorama.am. To him, the initiative comes to demonstrate that Armenians are moving forward.
“That is for sure we want to prove that the more we work well and take sincere actions, the more our enemies make bad steps. The world should judge the difference between them and us,” Afeyan stressed.
Moving on the Aurora Prize and the change of mentality after reports presented at the Aurora Dialogues within the scope of the forum, Noubar Afeyan expressed confidence much would be changed.
“Different people visit Armenia, feel the Armenian spirit, our sufferings, belief, and those altogether will bring change to their understanding. The world will undoubtedly assist us, acknowledge and pay attention to us,” Afeyan noted.
He then informed that Aurora will become an annual ceremony, and they are committed to do even more to realize their wishes into reality. One idea is the promotion of humanitarianism and Armenia should become a global center for that.
