NKR DA: Azerbaijani side fires from howitzer D-30 towards Mataghis
The adversary continues its offensive operations on the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan on the night of April 23-24, reports NKR Defense Army press service.
The adversary fired from weapons of different calibres, 60 and 82 mm mortars, 122 mm howitzer D-30 and TR-107 multiple rocket launchers towards Armenian positions on north-eastern (Martakert) and northern (Talish) parts of the line.
According to the source, the adversary targeted not only the military positions but also Mataghis village. The Azerbaijani side fired from howitzer D-30 towards the village. Fortunately, no losses have been reported.
Defense Army frontline units resorted to retaliatory operation to stabilize the situation and suppress the offensive operations of the adversary.
NKR Defense Army states that these offensive operations launched by the Azerbaijani side, once again prove that the adversary openly continues to violate the verbal agreement on ceasefire reached on April 5.
