Seyran Ohanyan: Frontline units control the situation
“Usually, tension increases on commemoration days,” said Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan concerning Azerbaijani activities on the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, after paying tribute to the memory of Genocide victims at Tsitsernakaberd memorial.
According to the Minister, tension increased on April 23 at the northern part of the line, near Martakert.
“The frontline units are in their defensive positions, clearly controlling the situation and ready for any operation,” Ohanyan said.
Commenting on the news about Armenian tank being hit by the Azerbaijani side, the Minister labelled it as another lie by the adversary.
