Official Stepanakert has accepted Azerbaijan’s threat to bombard Stepanakert and has prepared for such a development, said President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan in an interview.

“Doubting their intentions would mean we’re still deluded. The 12 year old child killed in school, the injured, our decapitated soldiers, 90 year old elderly people shot dead and other atrocities come to prove that they are coming to decapitate us all, to disrespect the graves of our ancestors, to rape our women and sisters. Thus, I believe that we must give the adequate evaluation to their operations and, given the brutal truth, take further measures,” the President said.

Bako Sahakyan underlined that Stepanakert has already accepted Azerbaijan’s threat and prepared for such developments.
In case Azerbaijan realizes their threats, the President commanded to bring forth the anti-aircraft missiles, multiple rocket systems, missile systems of the Defense Army.

According to him, in case of such a development, Defense Army will give an adequate response.
