The number of child beggars and homeless children decreased in Armenia
The number of homeless children and child beggars in Armenia decreased as compared to e data of the previous year, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
According to data of the RA Police, 8 child beggars and homeless children revealed in Armenia as of the end of the year 2015 - all of them boys, while in previous years the cases with girl beggars were registered as well
The national Statistical Service data indicate that four children were found in Yerevan, two of them under 14, the one aged 14-15, the other - 16-18.
The rest of child beggars were registered in Lori and Shirak marzes. According to data the number of homeless and beggar children in Armenia was 20 in 2010, 15 in 2011, 16 in 2012, 13 in 2013, and 7 in 2014.
