Azerbaijani SOCAR CEO’s drunk son appears in Turkish media for his scandalous behavior
Rashad Abdullayev, the son of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) CEO RovnagAbdullayev, wasdeprived of driving license and fined for drunk driving, the website of the Azerbaijani online Meydan TV reports citing Turkish Sozcuportal.
According to the information, the SOCAR CEO’s son Rashad Abdullayev was detained in Istanbul during a police raid. The portal reports that rather drunk, Abdullayevrefused to pass the Breathalyzer test --a device for estimatingthedrivers'alcohol intoxication extent–behaved provocatively, and ingeneral, created problems for the police officers.
The son SOCAR president – also serving anMP --demanded from the traffic police to release him throwing to them international driving licenses of three countries – Azerbaijan, Qatar, and California (USA) – belonging to him. He told the policemen, “Take the one you want!”
Rashad Abdullayev was punished by being deprived of his driving license for 2 years and fined 2000 Turkish liras.
