17 sailors missing after fishing boat collision in East China Sea
Chinese Navy is searching for 17 sailors who went missing after a fishing boat collided with a foreign vessel in the East China Sea, reports Interfax.
According to the source, the collision occurred near the coast of China's Zhejiang Province. Two other sailors were rescued by another fishing boat following the crash.
Eight Chinese ships participate in the search activities. Poor visibility hinders the search and rescue operation.
It is not yet clear whether or not the foreign vessel suffered any damage during the collision.
