NKR Defense Army serviceman killed
The Azerbaijani side continued violations on the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the evening of May 11 until May 12, reports NKR Defense Army press service.
According to the source, the adversary opened fire towards Armenian positions from weapons of different calibres, applying mortars and grenade launchers.
During the offensive operations on May 11 around 8:00 AM, Defense Army serviceman Armen Martirosyan, 1996 was killed.
Investigations are underway to find out the circumstances of the case.
NKR Defense Army shares the grief of loss of the family, relatives and fellow soldiers of the deceased.
Defense Army frontline units managed to suppress the adversary’s offensive operations.
