Works by Petros Poghosyan exhibited at the Fourth Watercolor Competition Biennale in Belgrade
Armenian artist Petros Poghosyan participates at the Fourth Watercolor Competition Biennale Belgrade 2016. Poghosyan told Panorama.am that for the first time he attends the competition after being invited by the organizer Pedja Acimovic.
The exhibition opened on May 15 at Progress exhibition hall and will last until May 29. Works by 207 artistes representing 50 countries are presented at the event with two works by Petros Poghosyan among them. As Poghosyan informed, one of his works submitted to Biennale was sold right on the first day of the exhibition.
The Armenian artist then highlighted the importance the participation at the international Biennale for him. “That appears to be a good opportunity to keep in touch with what is going on, present works to the narrow and wide circle of critics, specialists, authors and collectors and - what is of much importance to demonstrate paintings created through inner exertion to those familiar or not with our space of being,” Poghosyan concluded.
